The Assistant Studio Manager reports into the Studio Manager and their responsibilities include operations, team development, exceptional customer service, finance and community engagement.

Front of House - All Studios

We are looking to recruit someone who is passionate about health and wellness and who is positive, proactive in nature and excited about growing a successful business.

The prerequisites for this role is that they have 1+ years proven experience in retail or hospitality and be excellent in a customer facing environment. They are also able to work as early as 6:00/6:30AM or as late as 9:00/9:30PM Monday - Friday and at least 1 weekend day.

The Front of House responsibilities include exceptional customer service and community engagement.

HR & People Manager

The HR & People Manager is a crucial and influential role in the fast paced growth of Psycle, providing support to employees and instructors through cultural development and driving the engagement of the team around the company’s brand vision, direction and core values. As HR & People Manager, you are aligned with the Company’s mission, core values, policies and procedures and are responsible for ensuring this is championed throughout the team. You are the guardian of the Psycle experience, and are responsible for the employee and instructor experience at Psycle.

Responsibilities include:


  • Management of a HR budget, maximizing its impact on Psycle as a workplace; designing and implementing a strategic plan to embed Psycle’s culture and values
  • Build and maintain relationships with the studios to hear feedback from the team / continually take the pulse.
  • Management of all HR procedures and documentation
  • Training all team members on HR systems
  • Management of biannual appraisal process
  • Manage Payroll
  • Recruitment across all areas of the business
  • Onboarding of staff and ensuring all new joiners understand the brand and culture
  • Offboarding of any team members and ensuring correct policies and procedures are followed
  • Management of HR related contracts with third parties
  • Ownership of the staff handbook, all policies and procedures, and update as necessary
  • Work closely with Operations Manager, Regional Manager and Community & Talent manager on customer service and product knowledge
About the candidate
  • Positive, optimistic, resilient
  • Passionate about fitness and wellbeing
  • Numerate; prior experience managing payroll useful
  • Confident, with a clear idea of HR best practice and the will / energy to implement it
  • Great communication skills; clear, concise, logical
  • Line management experience - comfortable with matrix management structures
  • Ability to help inexperienced line managers deliver feedback to their teams clearly and effectively; willingness & ability to step outside of traditional HR to support in the training & development of a young management team
  • A people person, approachable, with the ability to resolve conflict and build strong relationships
  • Conscious of team energy, proactively reads when to check in with team members to provide support
  • Proactive in scheduling events to promote teamwork, relationship building, and cross departmental communication
