Front of House - Westbourne Grove

We are looking to recruit someone who is passionate about health and wellness and who is positive, proactive in nature and excited about growing a successful business.

The prerequisites for this role is that they have 1+ years proven experience in retail or hospitality and be excellent in a customer facing environment. They are also able to work as early as 6:00/6:30AM or as late as 9:00/9:30PM in Westbourne Grove Monday - Friday and at least 1 weekend day.

The Front of House responsibilities include exceptional customer service and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with Head of Marketing to develop localised site and concept specific acquisition strategy to increase footfall
  • Immerse yourself into the local area and gain a thorough understanding of the communities and local businesses that we can tap into to drive sign ups and repeat visits

Digital and Data Manager

Job Description

The Digital and Data Manager is a strategic and analytical role focussed on improving the acquisition, engagement and retention of our customer base across marketing channels and digital touchpoints. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities will fall into the following areas:

  • Project management of website migration and development plus ongoing analysis and optimisation
  • Development and management of a CRM system
  • Analysis and optimisation of the digital CRM programme
  • Management of paid social and PPC marketing
  • Management and optimisation of all marketing campaigns and promotions

Project management of website migration and development plus ongoing analysis and optimisation

In 2019 we will be re-building the current website on a new platform. This provides an opportunity to re-structure some areas of the website to ensure all user journeys on the site are as simple and effective as possible. It’s important that we understand the strengths and weaknesses of the current site in order for the new website to be built on solid foundations. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities in this area will focus on the following:
  • Review of the current website understanding its strengths and weaknesses as well as identifying opportunities for the new site
  • Research into what customers want from the website – this can be done through focus groups with a diverse group of people across all customer segments and / or email surveys
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop strategic recommendations based on what we know customers want to see from the website and to outline the purpose and objectives of the website
  • Manage the transition from our existing to new platform, owning the relationship with our 3rd party providers to plan, manage and execute all deliverables associated with the transition - this includes both front end design and back end development
  • Working with relevant teams involved in the strategic development of any other owned digital platforms e.g. a booking app
  • Creation of campaign web pages using templates that exist within content management system
  • Development of a website tracking plan to ensure the website is tagged in a way that allows for detailed analysis and effective SEO
  • Regular analysis to understand the ongoing performance of the website with optimisation recommendations grounded in data insight
  • Development of reporting dashboard

Development and management of CRM system

With over 140k registered accounts ranging from frequent visitors to those not yet having visited a studio, it’s important that we’re able to understand who our customers are and be able to respond to their changing behaviours. Our new booking platform will have a more robust CRM system which will allow us to better manage the customer data and the relationship between the brand and the registered individuals. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities in this area will focus on the following:

  • Integration of our existing CRM programme with the new system
  • Use of the system to develop existing and new customer segments which considers frequency of visit, concepts taken, length of tenure, active status, visit daypart and more
  • Working with our Communications Manager to build trigger based and ad-hoc email campaigns

Analysis and optimisation of the digital CRM programme

A new CRM programme has been developed with the focus of improving the retention of our customer base. This programme requires continued analysis and optimisation to ensure the communications are as effective as possible. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities in this area will focus on the following:

  • Ensure relevant tracking is in place to fully understand the performance of each communication through to bookings on the site
  • To provide strategic optimisation recommendations including changes to existing communications and proposal of additional communications based on customer behaviours
  • Propose ad-hoc communications to boost customer retention and frequency of visits
  • Work alongside marketing teams to develop the communication assets
  • Continually measure performance of the communications to understand the overall return to the business as a result of the CRM programme e.g. increase in retention rate, ROI

Management of paid social and PPC marketing

Paid social and PPC advertising are important customer acquisition channels yet are relatively unexplored to date. As a business we believe it’s important for us to have a solid digital customer acquisition strategy that is continually managed, measured and optimised. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities in this area will focus on the following:

  • To work with a third party digital agency, managing the social and PPC campaigns
  • To ensure we are continually testing multiple messages and creative variants on social media to maximise performance
  • Ensuring existing customer data is being used to inform the target groups on social media
  • To analyse the performance of all activity and understand ROI so we can determine ongoing levels of investment

Management and optimisation of marketing campaigns and promotions

It’s vital that we’re able to understand the performance of all marketing activity and its effect on new registrations, customer retention and frequency of visits. The business requires regular reporting to help quickly understand the success of the marketing initiatives which will then inform the ongoing marketing strategy. The Digital and Data Manager’s responsibilities in this area will focus on the following:
  • Development of a reporting dashboard displaying key business metrics mapped against the marketing and promotional calendar
  • To understand the success of customer acquisition campaigns and promotions in the form of new registrations and subsequent long term revenue
  • To ensure all marketing activity, on and offline, is measurable so we’re able to understand marketing success and ROI, including creation of voucher codes that can be matched back to marketing activity
  • To provide a detailed level of reporting that will help determine allocation of marketing spend

Required Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Digital marketeer with 4+ years’ experience in a data / CRM / website related role
  • Experience in the management of paid social, PPC advertising and SEO
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of content management systems
  • Experience in website tracking and analysis using Google Analytics
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset
  • Ability to interrogate data for the purpose of insight discovery
  • Experience and understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to effectively managing people, projects and resources as well as influence staff both up and down the organisation
  • Must be a self-starter and skilled in problem solving, organisation, planning, as well as having good overall judgment
