BLACK HISTORY MONTH

HISTORY LIVES IN THE PRESENT

This Black History Month, we’re celebrating the rich history and heritage that make us all who we are today.

From storytelling to strength training, music to movement, we’re standing proud with the whole Psycle community this October, as we honour the achievements of Black people – past, present and future.

From a series of empowering classes designed to shine a spotlight on our Black and Brown team members, to partnerships with local Black-owned businesses and opportunities to shape the conversation together, we’re proud to be uniting and celebrating this month.

SELFMADE CANDLE

Ricki, Founder of Selfmade Candle, has always loved candles. During lockdown she started creating her own to keep her (and others') spirits high and believes our favourite scents can keep us going even in the most challenging times. As a Black woman during the height of the Black Lives Matter, she felt compelled to do something proactive and created the CONSCIOUS candle, which makes a donation to Black Minds Matter for every purchase. Nearly a year later, Ricki has managed to raise thousands of pounds for charities supporting mental health in diverse communities.
