Psycle is a boutique fitness business with four sites across London and an online platform, Psycle At Home, that was launched at the end of last year.

Although our studios remain the heart of the business, a key aim for us is to bring our in-studio magic and infectious energy into people’s homes or wherever they may go with Psycle at Home.

The challenge of this role is to simultaneously drive performance and execute deliverables across both key elements of our business.

To be successful in this role you will need to hit the ground running and be ready to fully immerse yourself in the Psycle brand and its people.

This role is an opportunity to lead on the development of our business and support the team in delivering a best in class digital experience to a loyal community and prospective customers, as part of an omnichannel approach. The role will have a strong focus on brand, communications and customer acquisition across online and studio channels holding overall responsibility for driving registrations, studio attendance and Psycle at Home signups.

Being a small ambitious business, the role requires someone who is used to working in a startup environment where everyone mucks in. This role sits within our leadership team where a lead by example management style is vital. The ideal candidate will view the role they play in leading the team and nurturing its culture as important as achieving their marketing deliverables.

The Mission (core responsibilities)
• Ownership and development of brand, tone of voice and messaging across all channels.
• Planning, design and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions across social media, email, digital marketing and in studio marketing
• Ownership of the marketing budget for studios and Psycle at Home
• Regular reporting on the effectiveness of marketing spend and how it can be further optimised
• Close management of third-party digital marketing partners to ensure
achievement of ROI / value for money
• Work closely with the Digital Lead to optimise the website for SEO and to understand where customers reaching the website fail to convert
• Ownership, development, and measurement of Psycle’s CRM strategy both short term and longer term with the identification, selection and onboarding of a more sophisticated CRM partner to enhance and improve communication, engagement and retention of customers online and in studio.
• Lead on partnership strategy across the business
• Responsible for professional development and wellbeing of a small team plus leading on relationships across the business to keep teams updated and informed on marketing comms and initiatives

STUDIO LEAD, Westbourne Grove

Exceptional customer service, operational excellence and a strong community spirit within our Psycle studio is pivotal to ensuring we build loyal customers for life and grow a successful business. It’s your job, as studio leader, to make sure this happens by managing the studio and leading the team so that everyone is working efficiently, effectively and energetically.
It is your responsibility to proactively address any conversation to accelerate individual or team performance in the day through coaching, feedback and follow-through. You have an eye for detail and direct the team to uphold all operational standards of cleanliness and order. You ensure any problems – whether that be customer service or operations – are resolved swiftly and with care. As a member of the management team, you feed forward or down any communication that is essential to improving studio operations or team morale. Under your leadership, you are passionate about upholding all standards and deliver results as per company demands to elevate people’s lives and the Psycle experience. You remain invested in your own personal development and are open to giving and receiving feedback to fuel yours, the teams and business’s achievement.

Key Qualification
- 1+ year of proven ability leading people and has delivered results
- Has proven experience managing operations

As a team leader, you thrive on responsibility and understand the importance of keeping your team inspired, energetic, happy and focused at work. You are responsible for setting up the day by opening or closing the studio and delegating roles and responsibilities so that everything is well cared for and attended to across the team and business. You are able to keep a 360 awareness of how people are performing to ensure the energy and vibe remains upbeat and professional– from the music to people's body language. Throughout the day, you measure quality of: product knowledge and customer service delivered by staff, collaboration and teamwork amongst Front of House, Energy Kitchen, Housekeeping and Instructors, and ensure all health and safety/hygiene standards are maintained to provide a safe working environment. In addition, you remain on top of daily walkthroughs and checklists so all facility and equipment is maintained and serviced as per company policies and procedures. You are confident and quick to respond to whatever comes up in your day with calmness and care. It is your responsibility to ensure the environment feels like an urban oasis and the team is working together as one. You are excellent at feeding down or forward communication to ensure the right people are in the know of anything business critical. Lastly, you understand how to balance a to-do list with what’s urgent and important so that the business demands are maintained as per company expectations and the employee and customer service is unparalleled.

FRONT OF HOUSE, Westbourne Grove

At Psycle London, your role as Front of House is to give exceptional customer service to each person in order to build trust and loyalty in Psycle’s brand. You are passionate about getting to know each person by name and complete random acts of kindness.

You remain focused throughout the day to ‘get the job done’ and learn everything about Psycle’s products to give a memorable experience grounded in confidence. You are quick to resolve any problems by addressing them with care and empathy while staying positive in communication and body language because you understand the importance of building a customer for life.

You lead by example to uphold operational excellence as per company guidelines and are
proactive to keep the studio, energy kitchen, amenities, product and all equipment organised, clean and maintained. Last but not least, you are passionate about your own
personal development and remain open to giving and receiving feedback to fuel yours and the company’s development.

Key Responsibilities
As Front of House you are always on your feet. You take action in each moment to make it count – whether that’s checking people in with infectious energy before class, setting them up in the studio, working within Energy Kitchen, processing transactions,
restocking product, completing walkthroughs of the studio, promptly responding to emails and phone calls and helping housekeeping clean every nook and cranny.

You know how to prioritize and juggle more than one customer at a time while staying conscious of business demands as well as your own. Throughout this whole experience, you remain passionate about spreading Psycle’s mission of inspiring people to lead vibrant, energetic and happy lives. You do this through your conversations with customers and by offering guidance, knowledge and tips about who we are as a company, our concepts, instructors and events and workshops.
