Accounts Assistant

Psycle is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our HQ team! 

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing, analysing and circulating weekly and monthly sales reporting

• Preparation of month-end and year end management and financial accounts

• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles

• Liaising with payroll provider, reviewing payroll calculations

• Liaising with year end auditors

• Liaising with Studios on everything from sales reporting and KPIs to stock management Invoice processing, and preparing and processing payment runs

• Submission of monthly VAT returns

• Regular bank and other reconciliations

• Developing and implementing processes to improve the efficiency of the finance team

• Assisting with business analysis and other ad hoc duties as required

 

About you!

• Analytical, with a positive attitude in the face of complexity

• Knowledge and working understanding of double entry bookkeeping essential AAT qualified, or studying towards your AAT/ACCA/CIMA

• Great attention to detail

• Experience with payroll and submission of VAT returns

• Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables)

• Experience using

• Sage 50c an advantage

Social Media Manager

Psycle is looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join its growing marketing team. As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence, build and nurture an engaged online community and improve our marketing efforts. 

Responsibilities: 

- Develop, implement and manage our social media presence based on our social strategy

- Create monthly content calendars that reflect who we are as a brand, events and relevant topics in the health and wellness industry - to include Instagram grid posts, stories and campaigns that will build and engage our online community

- Identify the appropriate content requirements; ensuring this is captured through own photography and filming skills, and working with external content creators on scheduled shoots

- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies

- Stay up to date with fitness brands and competitor activity

- Actively engage with our instructors’ social media as well as with appropriate influencers and influential brand accounts

- Find opportunities to respond to reactive events on social platforms

- Coordinating with internal stakeholders (Heads of Concepts, instructors, studio teams) to develop social content to promote their departments and engage community 

- Build community relationships through social engagement

- Measure the performance of social media activity against set KPIs

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role

- Excellent copywriting skills

- Experience in content creation - basic photography and photo editing skills required

- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices

- Good understanding of social media KPIs

- Aligns with our brand mission 

- Passionate about the fitness industry and a strong understanding of the boutique fitness market

Team Coordinator

Team Coordinator

The Team Coordinator sits at the very heart of Psycle!

They are responsible for managing the Instructor timetables, cover/holiday tracking and invoicing. 

Working alongside the Heads of Concepts, the role of Team Coordinator is pivotal in building a team of loyal and engaged Instructors via tracking milestones, team recognition and supporting brand initiatives.

This person is extremely passionate about Psycle’s mission, our people and the community.

 

Responsibilities include:

- Full responsibility for timetable scheduling & management across studios and instructors

- Responsible for tracking holiday and arranging appropriate cover

- Scheduling of instructor team for all events and brand initiatives.

- Providing appropriate communication to the necessary teams, studio managers, commercial and marketing etc

- Management of the instructor directory to make sure contact information is up to date

- Responsible for organising instructor annual health checks

- Tracking and celebrating instructor milestones (personal and professional)

- Helping to action reward and recognition initiatives to celebrate greatness

- Provide administration support for Academies and training initiatives

- Support HR with the onboarding and induction process of new instructors

- Uploading of studio schedules to the booking platform

- Creating and sending of instructor/class communication to the community (change of instructor etc)

- Collecting and sharing of Instructor updates for company comms ie the Podium email

- Responsible for escalating and resolving booking platform issues

- Audit and manage instructor benefit administration alongside the HR team

- Regularly meeting with the Heads of Concepts to discuss and resolve issues and build an understanding of areas of opportunity and risk within the Instructor team.

- Invoicing & administrative support for instructor team

- Ownership and review of freelance instructor invoices from working day 1 to working day 3

- Work with accounts assistant to confirm invoices are correct to pay

- Ownership of class invoicing for PAYE instructor team in time for payroll cut-off on the 17th of each month.
